Mr. Thompson is a 1992 Engineering graduate of the University of Calgary. Mr. Thompson has over 17 years of industry experience experienced in oil and gas operations including production, facilities design and field operations. He was co-founder & senior manager of a number of private engineering, companies (Founder & President, Triumph EPCM; Co-founder & Vice-President, Banyan Engineering).

John Aihoshi

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Aihoshi is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 25 years of accounting experience. Prior to his appointment with Border, Mr. Aihoshi served as Chief Financial Officer of Canflame. Mr. Aihoshi has also served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of private and public oil and gas and oil and gas service companies since 1989. Mr. Aihoshi received his CMA designation in 1984.

Russell Tracy,P.Eng

Vice President of Production

Mr. Tracy was recently the Production Engineer of CanEra Energy and prior thereto had roles in Production & Operations at NAL Resources and Canadian Forest Oil Ltd. Mr. Tracy brings a total of 10 years of direct, field and production related experience to Border. He was a graduate of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2002 and a Chemical Engineering graduate from Lakehead University in 2006.
